This molecular sieve desiccant is designed to remove moisture from the air inside your AMS. This keeps the space around your filament drier. This helps reduce moisture-related problems such as bubbles, stringing, and a less smooth surface. Especially for filaments that absorb moisture quickly, this is a simple, effective upgrade.

This variant works well in conjunction with the active heating of the AMS 2 Pro. Conventional desiccants often lose their effectiveness when temperatures rise. A molecular sieve, however, is specifically designed to continue binding moisture even in warm conditions. As a result, the air inside the AMS dries out more quickly, even when opening the lid or frequently changing coils.

You can see when replacement is needed. The indicator beads change color from yellow to purple. Has the color completely changed? Then it is time to install a new set. Note: first remove the desiccant from the transparent, sealed plastic bag before placing it in the AMS.
