The Bambu Lab H2C Induction Hotend High Flow is a complete hotend for the H2C and H2C Laser. It heats up using induction. As a result, the nozzle reaches temperature quickly and you experience less waiting time. This hotend is designed for high throughput. This is useful if you want to print quickly or extrude a large amount of material per second.
This version features a 0.8 mm hardened steel nozzle and is designed as a High Flow. This allows you to get more out of high print speeds, especially for large parts. According to Bambu , the maximum volumetric velocity with the 0.8 mm High Flow nozzle is around 40 mm³/s (tested with Bambu PLA Basic). This means you print faster without the flow becoming the bottleneck. Hardened steel is also suitable for abrasive filaments. Think of CF- and GF-filled materials such as PA6-GF, PA6-CF, PET-CF, and PPS-CF. Moreover, with a 0.8 mm nozzle, the risk of clogging is lower with these types of filaments.
The hotend uses a contactless power and signal interface. Therefore, there are no contact pins that can oxidize. It also features protection against overheating, overvoltage, and short circuits. Two sensors measure the temperature of the nozzle and the heatsink. If the heatsink becomes too hot, the system automatically increases the cooling. This helps prevent heat creep and reduces the risk of clogging during long prints.
